Privacy Policy

1. Information we handle

degitilized stove can be used without an account. Profile details, favorites, history, recent ingredients, and pantry preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage. If you create an account or log in, this information is synced to your private account using Supabase; access is restricted to your signed-in account.

Please do not enter sensitive medical details you do not want stored on your device. Anyone with access to your browser profile may be able to see or clear its locally saved information.

2. How information is used

Your kitchen profile and ingredient choices are used in your browser to sort the local recipe collection. Matching is rule-based; it does not use an AI service or send your entries to an AI provider. When signed in, your profile, favorites, recipe history, and recent ingredients are stored in your account so they can sync across devices.

3. Accounts and syncing

You may create an account or sign in to sync your cooking profile, favorites, and history across devices. Authentication and account data are handled by Supabase. You can continue using the app without an account, in which case your app data stays in this browser’s local storage.

4. Retention and your choices

Your browser keeps local app data until you remove it or clear the site’s storage. You can change preferences in Settings. To remove local app data, clear this site’s local storage in your browser settings. If you use an account, signing out stops account syncing on this device; cloud account data remains associated with your account.

5. Cookies and service providers

The meal profile feature in this preview does not rely on advertising cookies or third-party analytics. The website may load standard hosting and site-builder resources needed to display and operate the pages. Those services may receive routine technical information such as a request’s IP address under their own policies.

6. Children and food safety

degitilized stove is a general meal-planning tool, not designed to collect information from children. Recipe suggestions are informational only. You are responsible for checking ingredient labels, cross-contamination risks, food handling, and whether a recipe suits your household.

7. Changes and contact

We may revise this policy as the product changes. The updated date above will show when the latest version took effect. For privacy questions, contact the degitilized stove site owner through the channel provided to you when the service becomes available.
